Temazcal
Sweat Lodge - Temazcal
A traditional ritual practiced by Toltecs, Mayans and Zapotecs that takes place in a handmade stone like dome with a focus on reflection and gaining self awareness. Led by a shaman, you sit in a circle with hot stones heated by a wooden fire. Fresh herbs, chanting, mantras and good intentions fill the air as you release, renew and refocus your energy. tema comes from the word bath and calli, meaning stone.
Mayan Clay Meditation Ritual
Done beachside this is more of a ceremony focusing on letting go of the old, to make room for the new. The mineral rich locally sourced Mayan clay starts with an explanation, followed by a self application, then a beachside meditation, and is then followed with a swim in the beautiful Caribbean sea. It leaves people feeling deeply connected to themselves and ready to move forward with love and certainty.

A massage treatment that uses the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy to create movement in the abdominal area known to stimulate digestion and aid with IBS and other abdominal issues. Includes a full body massage.
SHAMANIC EGG CLEANSE (LIMPIA DE HUEVOS)
A unique shamanic healing form which use an egg and smoke to energetically cleanse a client’s aura and to help them on their healing path. After a session, the egg is dropped into water and read. True deers have the ability to see the client, enabling the seer to facilitate the client's understanding and ability to work with their own life issues.

Intuitive Bodywork Massage
Agustin’s father, the late Daniel Pool Pech was a legendary Tulum Shaman that was dedicated to Amansala for 10 years. Since the age of eight, Agustin has had a broad education of medicinal plants and traditional remedies as well as being trained in the traditional "Sobada Maya" therapeutic massage technique. Agustin is also a graduate of the Instituto Holistico Maya where he has completed formal bodywork training. Agustin’s gift is intuitively healing the body working with one of his many techniques involving herbal and bodywork to truly balance out the body on a deep physical and energetic level..

Healing of the senses with the use of essential oils, and when used in massage they penetrate and stimulate the central nervous system, this is combined with the traditional abdominal massage, heat application using suction cup application to activate blood circulation and all over wellness.

A gifted bodyworker, Laura has worked at Amansala for 10 years. Her knowledge of the body is felt during her service. Laura is renowned for her deep tissue massage, and is also trained in Thai massage and reflexology, traditional Mayan Sobada massage. Laura is an expert at scanning your body and gives it what it needs combining all her skills into an unforgettable experience. Your only regret with Laura will be that you wished you had more time with her. We recommend her 80 minute massages to get the full experience of what she can offer your body.
Julian
Has worked with us for 9 years at Amansala and has worked as a bodywork practitioner over 15 years. His ability to work on a purely physical level via a standard sports massage or with the energetic body allows him to create the perfect massage, where your muscles are healed and the mind, body spirit lighter. Julian is a very intuitive, attentive body worker and certainly helps to not just relax body in his thorough massage but you get lost in the rhythmic flow of his long deep movements as if you were lost in meditation. He ends each of his treatments with a sound healing savasana using a Tibetian bowl and Mexican caracol.
Yazuri
Treating yourself to a service with Yazuri is gifting yourself to an hour of being pampered by a talented body worker that will leave you wanting more. She uses heat to simulate muscle regeneration and calms the nervous system, Yazuri is also offer facials and is certainly an expert allowing you to leave your mind and fully enjoy your body being pampered and healed.

Applying pressure to tiny points on the feed and through this Eva understands the map of your body and tunes into imbalances and the medicine of reflexology is that as she applies pressure she can help to facilitate healing where you need it. Eva not only identifies where your physical body is imbalance, but she also helps you to become aware of how the emotional body and physical are interconnected and you leave feeling healed and more as if you released tensions in a physical, emotional and spiritual way.
